It’s a new year and Red Door Concerts is back! Join us at our home venue of St. John the Evangelist Church on February 22nd for a “Seasons of Life”. Red Door’s co-creators Jeffrey Komar (viola) and Lauren Bryant-Monk (soprano) will be joined onstage by mezzo-soprano Daria Kharchenko and pianist Megaria Halim.

Musical offerings will include Johannes Brahms’ exquisite Zwei Gesänge, Op. 91, Karim Al-Zand’s youthful viola sonata Hollows and Dells, Elizabeth Raum’s sardonic song cycle Renovated Rhymes, and Jessica Meyer’s darkly beautiful Seasons of Basho, a musical setting of Haikus by the Japanese poet Matsuo Basho. This is music to stir the mind and warm the heart – the perfect antidote to a cold winter’s day!

This concert is supported by the London Arts Council through the City of London’s Community Arts Investment Program.
